Job summary

LOTTE ENGINEERING & CONSTRUCTION CO., LTD. Singapore Branch is looking for a Quantity Surveyor in Singapore. Responsibilities include measuring quantities, preparing cost analysis, and liaising with sub-contractors.

The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Electrical Engineering and possess strong analytical and negotiation skills. Experience in LTA projects is preferred. The role involves ensuring compliance with technical standards and controlling project scope for enhanced deliverables.

Qualifications

• Minimum working experience as a Quantity Surveyor preferred, especially in LTA projects.
• Ability to work independently and be meticulous.

Responsibilities

• Measure and take off quantities from design drawings.
• Prepare, analyze, and present cost comparisons to management.
• Assist the Project Control Manager with QS related tasks.

Job Description

• Responsible for measuring and taking off quantities from design drawings.
• Obtaining quotations, liaising and negotiate with sub-contractors and suppliers.
• Prepare, analyze and present cost comparison to management.
• Attend negotiations, discussions, meetings with sub-contractors and suppliers where necessary.
• Work with Engineering Department to oversee and ensure compliance with technical standards.
• Communicate with the management, contractors and sub-contractors on the adjustments to cost estimates to facilitate smooth transition of information.
• Control project scope to meet project objectives in order to enhance project deliverables and key work activities.
• Prepare cost analysis and form cost reduction strategies to ensure the overall value is enhanced for the project.
• Prepare Variation Orders, claims, final accounts, settlement and sub-contractor payments.
• Assist Contractual team on contractual claims so that the project scope is managed.
• To assist the Project Control Manager with all other QS related job as required.

Job Requirement

• Degree / Diploma in Electrical Engineering or its equivalent.
• Able to work independently, meticulous, analytical for long-term service.
• Working experience as a Quantity Surveyor are preferred, LTA project
