Direct the end-to-end electrical design for mission-critical facilities. This includes overseeing the engineering of utility connections, substations, switchgear, UPS systems, backup generators, power distribution networks, grounding, and lighting arrays.
Strategize and manage MV/LV power distribution topologies, redundancy architectures, equipment spatial planning, and load capacity modeling to ensure scalability for future growth and operational demands.
Ensure all designs comply with internal engineering guidelines, industry best practices, and local regulatory requirements. Actively incorporate post-project evaluations and lessons learned into future building phases.
Facilitate seamless integration across the project lifecycle, coordinating electrical systems with mechanical, architectural, structural, fire/life safety, ICT, controls (BMS/EPMS), and security teams.
Act as the primary technical guide for electrical infrastructure, directing project teams to maximize system reliability, safety, long-term maintainability, and operational readiness.
Conduct rigorous technical reviews on design packages. Evaluate single-line diagrams, equipment schedules, technical calculations, and architectural drawings to verify accuracy, constructability, and overall coordination.
Partner with external engineering consultants, construction contractors, and equipment vendors to evaluate, select, and procure technical solutions and hardware that align with project lifecycle goals.
Provide active technical support during the construction phase. Drive on-site issue resolution, oversee system testing and commissioning, validate final as-built documentation, and ensure a smooth facility handover to operations.
Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a closely related technical field.
Comprehensive understanding of electrical frameworks alongside a strong grasp of the regulatory, design, and permitting processes within the Southeast Asian market.
Deep technical proficiency in mission-critical electrical systems, with a specific focus on high-availability power distribution, backup resilience, and system redundancy planning.
Thorough knowledge of IEC and EN standards, combined with practical experience applying local electrical codes and jurisdictional regulations.
Demonstrated capability to lead and coordinate complex engineering design workstreams, utilizing strong organizational and project leadership skills.
A minimum of 6 years of professional electrical design and project management experience focused within Southeast Asia (e.g., Malaysia, Indonesia).
