NEXBRIDGE RECRUITMENT PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Lead Electrical Engineer to head the design team on diverse projects in Singapore.

You will develop, review and approve SLDs, layouts, schematics and technical specifications, ensuring robust, compliant systems from concept through handover. You will collaborate with clients and authorities, mentor junior engineers and lead BIM coordination, while aligning with SS standards and green building requirements.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• Minimum 7 years in electrical engineering and design.
• At least 5 years in an engineering consultancy environment.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and manage the electrical design team across project stages.
• Develop, review and approve SLDs, electrical layouts, schematics, specifications and design documentation.
• Review consultant designs for value engineering, cost optimisation and improved constructability.
• Ensure electrical systems integrate with Mechanical, Fire Protection and other M&E services.
• Provide mentorship to junior engineers and design team members.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants and authorities including EMA, SP PowerGrid and FSSD.
• Lead electrical BIM/Revit coordination and resolve design clashes before site mobilisation.
• Review technical submissions and provide engineering recommendations throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide technical evaluation of vendors, suppliers and subcontractors during tender and procurement stages.
• Review and approve shop drawings, material submissions and technical documentation.
• Work with project and site teams to resolve technical issues during construction.
• Provide technical support during testing, commissioning and handover.
• Ensure the approved design is translated into site execution.

Job Responsibility

• Lead and manage the electrical design team across various project stages.
• Develop, review and approve Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), electrical layouts, schematics, specifications and design documentation.
• Review consultant designs and identify opportunities for value engineering, cost optimisation and improved constructability.
• Ensure electrical systems are properly integrated with Mechanical, Fire Protection and other M&E services.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and design team members.
• Ensure all electrical designs comply with relevant Singapore Standards, including SS 638, SS 650 and SS 555, as well as applicable BCA Green Mark requirements.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants and relevant authorities, including EMA, SP PowerGrid and FSSD, where required.
• Lead electrical BIM/Revit coordination and ensure design clashes are identified and resolved before site mobilisation.
• Review technical submissions and provide engineering recommendations throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide technical evaluation of electrical vendors, suppliers and subcontractors during tender and procurement stages.
• Review and approve shop drawings, material submissions and technical documentation.
• Work closely with project and site teams to resolve technical issues during construction.

Job Requirement

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering and design.
• At least 5 years of experience within an engineering consultancy environment is required.
• Strong knowledge of HT/LT power distribution, standby generators, UPS systems and ELV systems.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit/BIM.
• Experience with electrical calculation and design software such as ETAP, Amtech or equivalent.
• Experience in industrial, commercial, infrastructure or data centre projects will be advantageous.
