Job summary

Qualifications

• Diploma/degree in Environmental, Health & Safety, Engineering or related discipline.
• Fresh graduates welcome; 1–3 years EHS experience advantageous.
• Exposure to ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 / ISO 45001, SS 651 or related management systems beneficial.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support development and implementation of the site's safety management framework to control workplace risks and prevent incidents.
• Ensure Safety Case requirements and ALARP major hazards are identified and managed.
• Monitor compliance with Singapore WSH requirements and site safety standards.
• Implement EHS programmes covering safety, health, environmental protection, emergency preparedness, and major accident prevention.
• Conduct safety training, workplace inspections, and compliance checks for employees and contractors.
• Support safety audits, certification activities, meetings, awareness programmes, and EHS improvement initiatives.
• Monitor plant safety performance and recommend improvements when changes may affect EHS risks.
• Prepare EHS reports, audit documentation, records, and regulatory submissions as required.
• Perform other EHS duties or projects assigned by the Department Head.

• Ensure site activities comply with Safety Case requirements, including identification and management of major hazards based on ALARP principles.
• Monitor and promote compliance with Singapore Workplace Safety and Health requirements and applicable site safety standards.
• Implement EHS programmes and initiatives covering workplace safety, health, environmental protection, emergency preparedness, and major accident prevention.
• Conduct safety training, workplace inspections, and compliance checks for employees and contractors.
• Support safety audits, certification activities, safety meetings, awareness programmes, and other EHS improvement initiatives.
• Monitor plant safety performance and recommend improvements where operational or process changes may affect EHS risks.
• Prepare EHS reports, audit documentation, records, and regulatory submissions where required.
• Perform other EHS-related duties or projects assigned by the Department Head.

Job Requirement:

• Diploma or Degree in Environmental, Health & Safety, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Fresh graduates are welcome; candidates with 1–3 years of relevant EHS experience will have an advantage.
• Exposure to ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 / ISO 45001, SS 651, or related management systems will be advantageous.
• Experience or exposure to a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Strong interest in environmental, health, safety, and regulatory compliance work.
