Job summary

Ideals Recruitment Pte Ltd on behalf of our client on Jurong Island is seeking an EHS professional to implement and maintain site safety management systems. The role focuses on minimizing workplace risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.

The successful candidate will conduct inspections, risk assessments, training, and support safety certifications. Requirements include a degree or diploma in EHS or related field and 1–3 years of manufacturing EHS experience; familiarity with ISO 14001 and

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Environmental, Health & Safety, Engineering or related field.
• 1–3 years of EHS experience in manufacturing.
• Familiar with ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 or SS 651.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain site EHS management systems to minimise workplace risks.
• Ensure compliance with WSH regulations, Safety Case requirements and ALARP principles.
• Conduct safety inspections, audits, risk assessments and emergency response activities.
• Develop and conduct EHS training and awareness programmes for employees and subcontractors.
• Support safety certifications, audits, meetings and improvement initiatives.
• Monitor plant safety performance and recommend improvements based on operational changes.
• Prepare and submit required EHS reports and documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Department Head.

Job description

Salary Package: Basic up to $4000

Working Hours: 44 hours per week

Working Location: Jurong Island
