Job summary

Manfield Employment Services Pte Ltd invites applications for an EHS Specialist in Singapore to support the development and implementation of the site's safety management framework, control workplace risks, and prevent incidents.

The role focuses on implementing safety, health, and environmental programmes, conducting training and inspections, and ensuring alignment with ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and local WSH requirements, with fresh graduates encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Diploma/degree in Environmental, Health & Safety, Engineering or related discipline.
• Fresh graduates welcome; 1–3 years EHS experience advantageous.
• Exposure to ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 / ISO 45001, SS 651 or related management systems beneficial.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support development and implementation of the site's safety management framework to control workplace risks and prevent incidents.
• Ensure Safety Case requirements and ALARP major hazards are identified and managed.
• Monitor compliance with Singapore WSH requirements and site safety standards.
• Implement EHS programmes covering safety, health, environmental protection, emergency preparedness, and major accident prevention.
• Conduct safety training, workplace inspections, and compliance checks for employees and contractors.
• Support safety audits, certification activities, meetings, awareness programmes, and EHS improvement initiatives.
• Monitor plant safety performance and recommend improvements when changes may affect EHS risks.
• Prepare EHS reports, audit documentation, records, and regulatory submissions as required.
• Perform other EHS duties or projects assigned by the Department Head.
