Job summary

STELLA CHEMIFA SINGAPORE PTE LTD in Singapore seeks a Site Safety Manager to implement a comprehensive Site Safety Management System, enforce safety standards, and drive safety programs across the site. You will lead training, risk assessments, and emergency planning to ensure regulatory compliance and continuous safety improvements.

The role requires 1–3 years of relevant experience in ISO14001/OHSAS18001 or SS 651 within a manufacturing setting, with strong communication and management skills

Qualifications

• Experience implementing ISO 14001 and OHSAS18001 or SS 651.

Responsibilities

• Implement a comprehensive Site Safety Management System to manage risks and reduce accidents.
• Ensure compliance of Safety Case regime to ALARP, identify and manage risks.
• Enforce safety standards in accordance with the Workplace Safety and Health Act.
• Implement workplace safety, health and environment programs and maintain on-site emergency response plans.
• Conduct training and inspections to ensure staff and subcontractors on site abide by policies and standards.
• Assist the company in safety-related certifications and awareness such as safety audits and programs.
• Review Plant’s Safety Performance to adapt to process or operational changes.
• Prepare and submit safety reports and necessary audits.
• Handle ad hoc duties and tasks assigned by Department Head.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Implement a comprehensive Site Safety Management System to manage risks and reduce accidents.


• Ensure strict compliance of Safety Case regime to identify, reduce and manage risks to “as low as reasonably practicable” (ALARP).


• Enforcement of safety standards in accordance with the Workplace Safety and Health Act.


• Implementation of workplace safety, health and environment programs and initiatives. Maintain on-site emergency response plans and major accident prevention policies.


• Conducting training programs on workplace safety and health and inspections to ensure that all staff and/or subcontractors onsite abide by policies and standards


• Assist the company in safety related certifications and awareness such as safety audits, meetings, and execution of safety programmes


• Review of Plant’s Safety Performance to adapt to process or operational changes.


• Preparation and/or submission of safety reports and necessary audits


• To handle any ad hoc duties and tasks assigned by Department Head.

Requirements:
