Job summary

OMS OILFIELD SERVICES PTE. LTD. is seeking an HSSE professional to ensure plant operations comply with local statutory HSSE requirements and corporate policies.

You will promote a positive safety culture by partnering with employers, employees and clients to minimize losses, injuries and environmental impact. The role involves planning and conducting audits, risk assessments, training programs, and emergency drills, with emphasis on ISO 45001/14001 compliance.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Occupational Safety Management or related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant HSE/WSH experience.
• Knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards helpful.

Responsibilities

• Implement, maintain and establish HSSE policies meeting statutory, client and corporate requirements.
• Maintain and submit HSSE permits and licenses with local authorities.
• Conduct risk assessments, aspects and impacts analysis, and preventive measures.
• Assist in maintaining the HSSE Management System per ISO 45001/14001.
• Monitor HSSE performance and drive continuous improvement.
• Investigate near misses and incidents; close related actions with managers.
• Plan and rehearse emergency response plans regularly.
• Identify training needs and develop HSSE training programs.
• Organize HSSE promotional activities and regular HSSE meetings.
• Plan and support internal/external HSSE audits per requirements.
• Conduct periodic Health, Industrial Hygiene monitoring and reporting.
• Generate and maintain HSSE documents and records.
• Strengthen ESG Governance & Compliance through accurate data reporting.

POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for ensuring the Plant operate in compliance with corporate and local statutory HSSE requirements. Promote a positive HSSE culture in the workplace and work in partnership with employers, employees and clients to minimize operational losses, occupational health problems, environmental damage, accidents and injuries.

Health, Safety, Security and Environment Responsibilities

• Implement, maintain and establish HSSE policies and procedures ensuring that they meet all relevant statutory, client and corporate requirements.
• Maintain and submit all HSSE permits and licenses required by local authorities.
• Conduct and review risk assessments, aspects and impacts analysis, corrective and preventive measures, safe work procedures and environmental matters.
• Assist in maintaining and improving the HSSE Management System in accordance with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards.
• Monitor and report HSSE performances in a timely manner and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Perform near misses / incident investigations and follow up with all appropriate managers to close HSSE related action items.
• Implement and rehearse emergency response plans and procedures on a regular basis.
• Identify training requirements and develop training programs.
• Organize HSSE promotional activities, awareness programs and regular HSSE meetings.
• Plan, Conduct and support internal and external HSSE audits according to regulatory, ISO standards, customers and corporate requirements.

REQUIREMENTS

Education

• Diploma in Occupational Safety Management, Fire & Safety Management, or a related discipline.

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of relevant HSE/WSH experience.
