Job summary

STELLA CHEMIFA SINGAPORE PTE LTD is seeking an Environmental, Health and Safety professional to implement a Site Safety Management System and maintain ALARP compliant practices on site. • 1~ 3 years of work experience in ISO14001 and OHSAS18001 or SS 651.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Good communication, interpersonal and management skills.
• A strong interest in environmental, health and safety compliance work.

Responsibilities

• Implement a comprehensive Site Safety Management System to manage risks and reduce accidents.
• Ensure strict compliance of Safety Case regime to identify, reduce and manage risks to ALARP.
• Enforcement of safety standards in accordance with the Workplace Safety and Health Act.
• Implement workplace safety, health and environment programs and initiatives; maintain on-site emergency response plans and major accident prevention policies.
• Conduct training programs on workplace safety and health and inspections to ensure staff and subcontractors onsite abide by policies and standards.
• Assist in safety related certifications and awareness such as safety audits, meetings, and execution of safety programmes.
• Review Plant's Safety Performance to adapt to process or operational changes.
• Preparation and/or submission of safety reports and necessary audits.
• Handle adhoc duties and tasks assigned by Department Head.
