COMPANY DESCRIPTION

We are one of the largest one‑stop Underground Utilities Infrastructure companies based in Singapore. We provide Underground Utilities Infrastructure construction and maintenance, sewer pipeline rehabilitation, road and airfield construction and maintenance as well as asphalt pre‑mix production and construction waste recycling.

RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for a qualified and proactive Safety Coordinator to help us reduce the risk of workplace accidents and ensure a safe working environment for all employees. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring daily operations to identify, assess, and eliminate hazardous activities.

You will also be expected to develop and implement policies that promote occupational health and safety (OSH) awareness across the organization. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of OSH regulations, be highly observant, and have strong analytical skills with a focus on prevention.

The goal is to support the creation and maintenance of a safe, healthy, and compliant workplace.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage quality control matters and coordinate ISO compliance to uphold company and regulatory standards.
  • Assist departments with safety documentation, including: Risk Assessments (RA), Method Statements (MS), Lifting Plans and BizSAFE certification requirements.
  • Deliver engaging safety training sessions for all levels — from daily operations to workplace safety procedures.
  • Conduct thorough safety inspections, both on‑site and in‑house, to proactively identify and mitigate risks.
  • Coordinate and respond to site‑specific safety concerns, ensuring swift resolution and preventive action.
  • Facilitate comprehensive orientation training for all new hires, instilling safety culture from day one.
  • Maintain, organize, and regularly update EHS documentation to support audits, compliance, and internal references.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with operations, HR, and compliance teams to integrate EHS into all business functions.
  • Support any additional duties or safety‑related tasks as assigned by your immediate superior or Head of Department.
  • Continuously promote safety awareness across teams to build a proactive and safety‑conscious work environment.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Possess an Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Level B.
  • Minimum NITEC qualification; candidates with an Engineering background will have an added advantage.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a safety support role, with a solid understanding of workplace safety and health regulations/legislation.
  • Proven ability to solve practical problems and manage a range of challenges in situations with minimal standard procedures.
  • Experience in implementing HSE policies and maintaining related management systems.
  • Strong skills in audit reporting, including identifying findings and recommending appropriate preventive and corrective actions.
  • Hands‑on experience in civil road works and heavy lifting operations.
  • Certified in Managing Work at Height and Confined Space Assessor Course.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and digital tools such as Google Forms.
  • Possess a valid Class 2 (motorbike) or Class 3 (motor vehicle) driving license.
