Job description

As a member of the Investment Banking team at Alvarez & Marsal, you will play a crucial role in collaborating with the Managing Director to identify and convert opportunities into mandates, thereby supporting broader sector objectives. Your responsibilities will include building and maintaining close relationships with key stakeholders such as promoters, board members, and CXOs, serving as their trusted advisor on strategic issues. Additionally, you will lead the team in origination and execution of mandates, leveraging the expertise of colleagues in India and global offices.In terms of execution, you will be responsible for leading the process, including collateral preparation, marketing, structuring, negotiations, diligence, and closing across Private Equity and M&A transactions. Your role will involve providing oversight to ensure high-quality execution, aligning closely with client expectations, and managing the team's progress on transactions.As a leader within the firm, you will be expected to promote a performance-driven culture, set high standards of conduct, and lead a high-quality team with the objective of building a profitable P&L. You will act as a role model for the team, exemplifying behaviors that drive results while ensuring the respect of peers and colleagues.Stakeholder management is a crucial aspect of this role, and you will need to develop strong working relationships with diverse client-side stakeholders.
