Job summary

AEM SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced leader to own the product lifecycle for semiconductor equipment, coordinating with customers, suppliers, service providers and the R&D team to drive solutions from concept through launch.

You will guide engineering, manage project timelines and costs, and present technically to customers and at trade shows. Strong communication, leadership and cost-control skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Automation / Robotics) or related discipline.
• 8+ years of semiconductor equipment development experience with strong cost management skills.
• Strong knowledge of automation and thermal control and ability to apply in development.
• Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.
• Strong in project management and leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Own the product lifecycle from concept to end-of-life across customers, suppliers, service providers and contractors.
• Provide technical leadership in sales and marketing activities, including customer-facing presentations and trade shows.
• Lead the engineering team, collaborate with R&D and system architect on solution development.
• Lead the project team responsible for proposals, timelines, specifications and cost.
• Review customer requirements and specifications to ensure compliance.
• Conduct product costing analysis and design optimization to meet cost targets.
• Prepare product presentations for sales and customer engagement.
• Coordinate with NPI, MFG and QA for equipment build and launch preparation.
• Define product acceptance criteria and manage acceptance processes.
• Support field service and resolve onsite equipment issues.
• Drive product improvement programs.

• Overall owner of the product throughout the entire product life cycle.
• Maintaining relationship with customers, suppliers, service provider, and contractors.
• Technical leader in sales and marketing activities. Includes customer facing, presentation in technical forum / trade show, etc.
• Leader of the engineering team, work with R&D team and system architect on overall solution development
• Leader of the project team responsible for project proposal, timeline, specification, & cost.
• Review customer requirement & specification and ensure compliances.
• Product costing analysis and design optimization to meet cost target.
• Prepare product presentation material for sales and presenting to customer.
• Liaise with NPI team, MFG team, QA team for equipment build and product launching preparation.
• Define product acceptance criteria, manage product acceptance process.
• Support field service team and manage onsite equipment issue.
• Manage product improvement program.

Prerequisites (Qualifications and Experience)

Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Engineering in Mechanical / Electrical / Automation / Robotics or related discipline
8 years or more working experience in semiconductor equipment development with good product cost management skill.
Good technical knowledge about automation & thermal control and able to apply in development.
Good communication and customer facing skill.
Strong in project management skill
Strong leadership and team management skill.
