Job summary

TALENT TRADER GROUP PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineer to lead automation design and development of high-precision semiconductor equipment modules.

You will oversee end-to-end product development, collaborate across engineering and manufacturing, and ensure smooth integration into mass production while travel for field support is required.

Candidates should have >3 years in automation design and strong GD&T and 3D CAD skills.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering.
• More than 3 years of experience in automation design.
• Experience in design of automation or semiconductor equipment.
• High precision machine design.
• Design of High Speed Pick and Place mechanisms.
• Familiar with 3D CAD software.
• Equipment troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to produce detailed Mechanical drawings and apply GD&T.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize new Process Modules, Perform experiments (DOE) to improve the Device Performance, yield and Manufacturability.
• Product Development Lifecycle: Oversee the end-to-end product development process, from concept through commercialization and high-volume manufacturing.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with Engineering, Integration, Modules, and other departments to ensure alignment and effectively resolve technical challenges.
• Manufacturing Integration: Ensure seamless integration of new processes into high-volume manufacturing, with a focus on scalability, yield, and cost-effectiveness.
• Performance and Reporting: Establish clear performance metrics, monitor progress toward objectives, and provide comprehensive reports on organizational outcomes.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering
• More than 3 years of experience in automation design
• Good knowledge and experience in the following areas :
• Design of automation or semiconductor equipment
• High precision machine design
• Design of High Speed Pick and Place mechanisms
• Familiar with 3D CAD software
• Equipment troubleshooting skills
• Ability to produce detailed Mechanical drawings and apply knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Ability to work independently with high level of motivation and communicate with all levels
• Able to travel overseas for field support when required
• Must be prepared to work overtime when required.
