Job summary

TALENT TRADER GROUP PTE. LTD. is seeking an engineer to coordinate semiconductor equipment projects from technical discussions to delivery.

You will engage with customers, lead pre-sales conversations, and drive cross-functional collaboration with vision, software and manufacturing teams. You will coordinate milestones, prepare updates, and travel to customer sites as needed to ensure alignment with scope, schedule and quality expectations.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation or related discipline.
• Experience in project engineering, project management, application engineering, equipment engineering or technical customer support preferred.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites when required.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to understand their requirements and project needs.
• Lead pre-sales technical discussions and product presentations with customers.
• Coordinate with Vision, Software and Manufacturing teams to ensure project execution and delivery.
• Act as a coordination point between internal departments and customers to align requirements and timelines.
• Conduct regular project meetings to track milestones and resolve issues.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation and status updates for stakeholders.
• Support product planning, equipment development and product improvement initiatives.
• Work with engineering and manufacturing teams during development and delivery of equipment.
• Travel to customer sites as needed to provide project support and coordination.
• Ensure projects meet scope, schedule, quality, and customer expectations.

What You'll Be Doing

• Engage with customers to understand their technical requirements, applications and project needs.
• Lead pre-sales technical discussions, product presentations and technical exchanges with customers.
• Take ownership of projects and coordinate closely with Vision, Software and Manufacturing teams to ensure successful project execution and delivery.
• Act as the key coordination point between internal departments and customers, ensuring requirements, timelines and expectations are clearly aligned.
• Conduct regular project meetings with cross-functional teams to track milestones, identify issues and drive timely resolution.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, progress reports and status updates for management and stakeholders.
• Support the Product Supervisor in product planning, equipment development and product improvement initiatives.
• Work closely with engineering and manufacturing teams throughout equipment development, integration and delivery.
• Travel to customer sites when required to provide project support, technical coordination and execution.
• Ensure projects are delivered according to agreed scope, schedule, quality and customer expectations.

What We're Looking For

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation or a related discipline.
• Experience in project engineering, project management, application engineering, equipment engineering or technical customer support is preferred.
• Experience in semiconductor equipment, automation, machine vision, robotics or industrial equipment will be highly advantageous.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Comfortable engaging with customers and conducting technical discussions.
• Strong project coordination and organisational skills.
• Able to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Proactive, independent and hands-on with good problem-solving abilities.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites when required.
