Job summary

• Manage end-to-end product performance from factory to post-installation.

• Monitor supplier performance and implement CAPA.
• Establish QC standards, inspection checklists, and tolerance levels.

• Investigate defects and perform root cause analysis.
• Update product specs and QC processes; track NPD pipeline.

Job description

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end product performance from factory to post-installation, ensuring quality and consistency.
• Develop OEM products with suppliers, including defining specifications and evaluating samples.
• Oversee product sampling process and drive continuous improvements.
• Balance cost and quality to achieve target margins.
• Act as main point of contact for suppliers on technical and quality matters.
• Monitor supplier performance and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Establish QC standards, inspection checklists, and acceptable tolerance levels.
• Review and approve pre-shipment QC reports and batch releases.
• Investigate product defects and perform root cause analysis.
• Implement corrective actions and update product specifications and QC processes.
• Analyse field issues and feedback from Customer Service and technicians.
• Maintain accurate product documentation (specifications, drawings, BOM, QC standards).
• Track NPD pipeline, sample progress, and issue resolution.
• Drive component standardisation to reduce SKU complexity and improve efficiency.
• Support product launches and provide technical support to internal teams.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Product Development, Quality Management, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in product development, OEM/ODM, quality control, or supplier management.
• Strong knowledge of product quality standards, QC processes, inspection methods, and root cause analysis.
• Experience working with suppliers on product specifications, sampling, technical issues, and corrective actions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to balance product quality, cost, and target margins.
• Good project management and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate NPD projects and work effectively with suppliers and internal teams.
