Job summary

SoftwareOne is seeking a Business Development Director in Singapore to drive growth for the Modern Workplace portfolio. You will identify opportunities, build executive relationships, and align customer needs with Microsoft Modern Workplace solutions to deliver measurable business value.

You will collaborate with customers, partners, and internal teams to transform organizations, bridging business and technology discussions while guiding proposals, negotiations, and contracts to closure.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in consultative B2B sales, business development, or solution selling within cloud, digital workplace, or technology services environments.
• Ability to engage and influence stakeholders across technical, operational, and executive levels.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Modern Workplace solutions, including Microsoft 365, Collaboration, Productivity, Security, and Workplace Transformation initiatives.
• Experience developing business cases, presenting proposals, and articulating value to customers.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to manage complex sales opportunities and negotiate successful outcomes.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop, and close new Modern Workplace opportunities across new and existing customers.
• Build trusted relationships with business and technology stakeholders, including executive decision‑makers.
• Partner with Account Managers and solution teams to develop account strategies and customer transformation roadmaps.
• Translate customer business challenges into commercially viable service and solution offerings.
• Position advisory, professional, and managed services that support workplace modernization, productivity, collaboration, and security outcomes.
• Lead customer engagements, proposals, negotiations, and contracting activities through to successful closure.
