Job summary

FPT Asia Pacific is expanding its AI-first Consulting Practice in Singapore and seeks a Director to lead the Modernisation Practice across APAC. You will work with the Managing Director to shape offerings, win lighthouse clients, and build core IP, reference architectures, and assets that define enterprise transformation delivery.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on engineering/consulting background in modernisation and legacy transformation.
• Experience directing offshore delivery teams across time zones.
• Familiarity with IBM mainframe, COBOL, RPG/AS400 and legacy batch environments.
• Strong knowledge of cloud-native architectures and integration patterns.
• Experience co-selling with hyperscalers in financial services or regulated industries.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Modernisation Practice across APAC, shaping consulting IP and playbooks.
• Own end-to-end client engagements — discovery workshops, scoping, and commercial estimation.
• Oversee offshore delivery and ensure execution quality of modernisation programs.
• Support business development and thought leadership in legacy modernisation and cloud-native transformation.
