Job description

A Day in the Life:

1. Project Leadership & Scope Management

• End-to-End Delivery: Oversee the execution of projects from start to finish, ensuring they are delivered on time, on scope, and within budget.
• Resource Planning: Develop and manage detailed budgets, schedules, and resource plans, navigating ambiguities to make autonomous decisions that keep the project moving.
• Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify potential risks early in the project lifecycle and implement mitigation strategies to ensure smooth delivery.

2. Creative Development & Technical Supervision

• Creative Partnership: Partner deeply with creative teams to conceptualize novel creative technology experiences, advising on feasibility and budget during the ideation phase.
• Technical Translation: Translate abstract design concepts into detailed project requirement specifications and technical hardware/software specs for the development team.
• Team Coordination: Assist and guide the designers, developers, and other team members to understand and follow our processes, uphold output quality standards, and ensure everyone is on the same page while driving the production of complex interactive and multimedia deliverables.

3. Supplier Coordination & Vendor Management

• Vendor Ecosystem: Leverage existing relationships and build new ones to manage external vendors and creative suppliers effectively.
• Cost Control: Assist the Director in sourcing and validating costings from suppliers and freelancers to ensure competitive pricing and value engineering.

4. Documentation & Client Management

• Rigorous Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation and status reporting to ensure all stakeholders are aligned.
• Stakeholder Communication: Act as a strong communicator, presenting complex technical and creative updates clearly to clients and stakeholders.

What We Are Looking For:

• Experience: Strong project management skills with experience developing budgets, scopes, and project plans for creative projects.
• Tech Literacy: A solid understanding of interactive and immersive technologies, including web, game engines, visual coding, multimedia production, 3D animation, sensors, and audio-visual hardware integration.
• Methodology: Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills; able to produce detailed functional specs and matrices.
• Mindset: A resourceful problem-solver who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and deeply enjoys ideation and conceptualization.
• Network: Experience managing creative vendors with existing contacts in the relevant supply chain is a strong plus.
