Job summary

PERSOL in Singapore is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to bridge business needs and technology delivery. You will work with business teams to map journeys, draft business cases, and define user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical specs.

You will evaluate technologies within the enterprise architecture, choose delivery methodologies (Agile or Waterfall), and ensure systems are ready for deployment and ongoing operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum degree qualification in a relevant discipline.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in business analysis, IT consulting, software development, or digital project delivery.
• Business analysis certification would be advantageous (CBAP or equivalent).
• Experience in software development or technology consulting is a plus.

Location: City Hall, Singapore
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM
Salary: $5,000 – $7,000 per month (based on relevant experience)
Duration: 17 December 2026 – 2 June 2027

Job Description

• Collaborate with business teams to understand citizen and business needs through human-centric methods, such as service journey mapping, and develop appropriate business cases.

• Work with project teams and technical stakeholders to define user stories, functional and technical specifications, and acceptance criteria.

• Evaluate and recommend suitable technologies aligned with enterprise architecture, cloud adoption, legacy system modernisation, and established technology frameworks.

• Identify and apply suitable project delivery methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall, across outsourced, co-sourced, and in-house development environments.

• Ensure systems and digital products are ready for deployment, user adoption, and ongoing operations.

• Assess change requests, recommend system enhancements, and collaborate with support teams to resolve technical issues during the operations and maintenance phase.

• Identify opportunities for digital transformation and continuous service improvement.

Requirements

• Minimum degree qualification in a relevant discipline.

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in business analysis, IT consulting, software development, or digital project delivery.

• Business analysis certification, such as Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), would be advantageous.

• Previous experience in software development or technology consulting would be an advantage.
