Job summary

OPUS IT Services Pte Ltd is seeking an IT Support professional in Singapore to provide basic troubleshooting over phone, email, and deskside for desktop, network, and hardware issues. The role includes logging issues, following up to closure, and giving technical advice on hardware/software peripherals.

Deskside support will be provided to office users, with additional help on end-user deployment projects as needed.

Qualifications

• Fluent Chinese required to interact with Taiwanese colleagues and read/write simple emails in Chinese.
• Diploma in Engineering or Information Technology.
• 2 years of experience in a related role.
• Able to work in a clean room environment as some systems are located there.
• Must be able to support desktop hardware and software.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic troubleshooting support via phone, email, and deskside for desktop/network and hardware issues.

Job scope:

• Provide deskside support to office users to resolve the technical issues on their devices
• Assist the Systems team to support end-user deployment projects when needed

Requirements

1. Speak fluent Chinese as need to interact with the Taiwanese colleagues as well as being able to read/write simple emails in Chinese
2. Diploma in Engineering or Information Technology
3. 2 years of experience
4. Able to work in work & Clean Room environment as some of the system will be at the cleanroom
5. Must be able to support desktop in term of hardware & software
