Job summary

EXCELTECH COMPUTERS PTE. LTD. is seeking a Desktop Support Engineer to support Central Singapore.

You will image and migrate Windows 11 devices (including MacBooks), configure access and security using Intune and VPN, and enrol mobile devices across multiple platforms. You will also handle onsite onboarding/offboarding, incident tickets, and AV checks while collaborating with vendors for hardware replacements.

Qualifications

• Onboarding and offboarding processes for users and devices.
• Incident management and tickets handling using ITSM tools.
• Asset and inventory management of hardware with routine audits.

Responsibilities

• Image, set up and migrate Windows 11 laptops, desktops, and MacBooks over network or USB.
• Set up and troubleshoot Windows 11 access and security (Intune, Company Portal, VPN, BitLocker, patches).
• Enrol iPhone, Android and iPad devices; manage AV in rooms; collaborate with vendors for hardware replacements.
• Maintain asset records (hostname, serial number, status); run inventory checks; write batch/VBS scripts to speed rollouts.

Desktop Support Engineer

Work location: Central Singapore (bank)

• Image, set up and migrate Windows 11 laptops and desktops (and MacBooks) over the network or USB, including moving user data, re-creating profiles and wiping old devices.
• Set up and troubleshoot users' Windows 11 access and security: Intune, Company Portal, Windows Hello, Authenticator, VPN, BitLocker, security patches and drivers. Enrol iPhone, Android and iPad devices.
• Work as a floor walker and deskside engineer: handle onboarding, offboarding and incident tickets (Jira, Freshdesk), check meeting-room and classroom AV, and work with vendors on hardware replacements.
• Keep asset records up to date (hostname, serial number, status), run inventory checks and write batch/VBS scripts to speed up large rollouts.
