Job summary

RECRUIT EXPRESS PTE LTD is seeking a Desktop Support Engineer for a renewal contract. The role covers helpdesk support, end-user services, and robust Windows/AD administration.

Location options include East or West Singapore, with weekly Jurong Island duty as needed. The candidate should have a Diploma in IT, 3+ years in desktop support, and 1+ year in Microsoft 365 administration. ITIL certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Diploma in IT or related fields.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in desktop support.
• At least 1 year of experience managing and administering Microsoft 365.
• Willingness to work on Jurong Island once a week or as assigned.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Experience with ManageEngine Endpoint Central will be an advantage.
• ITIL Foundation Certification will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage IT Helpdesk calls and service requests, ensuring incidents are logged, tracked, and resolved.
• Provide technical support to end users for laptops, desktops, printers, smartphones, and applications.
• Support onboarding and offboarding activities for end users.
• Administer user accounts, including creation, deactivation, and purging of disabled accounts.
• Administer printer servers, including installation and folder mapping.
• Administer email accounts and phone systems.
• Manage Windows 11 environments, including monthly patching, OS upgrades, and system imaging.
• Perform hardware troubleshooting and diagnostics for laptops and desktops.
• Provide first-level network troubleshooting and administer the guest network.
• Administer and support projectors, AV systems, and meeting room equipment.
• Manage inventory for laptops, desktops, IT peripherals, and software assets.
• Prepare slides for weekly team meetings and reports.
• Coordinate with vendors performing maintenance or recovery work on IT equipment.
• Participate in after-hours duty phone rotation.
• Provide support on weekends or outside office hours when required.
• Perform ad-hoc IT-related tasks as assigned by the Team Lead or Manager.
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisor
