Major Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Dental management of all patients under their care, including but not limited to:
    • Provision of urgent or emergency dental care
    • Ordering and reviewing of investigations and treatment
    • Performing and/or assisting in procedures and interventions
    • Communicating with patients, relatives, and colleagues
    • Obtaining informed consent for major procedures
  2. Reviewing all new cases following admission
  3. Updating and completing case records of all patients under their care
  4. Assist in the running of Specialist Outpatient Clinics
  5. Counselling patients who wish to be discharged against medical advice
  6. Writing medical reports
  7. Participating in department training activities and meetings
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Graduation from one of the dental schools recognized by the Singapore Dental Council
  • High standards of professionalism and ethical conduct
  • Good communication skills
