Overview
The Opportunity: We are partnering with a well-established player in the beverage manufacturing & distribution, seeking a Demand Planner to join their business permanently. Managing the portfolio of Singapore domestic and SEA wholesale market, the successful incumbent will lead key S&OP cycles, guide inventory efficiency, secure product availability, and curb excess stock. There will be opportunities to be actively involved in priority projects such as product allocations and new product introductions.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and refine demand forecasts; analyze sales, marketing, and channel activities; track forecast accuracy & bias KPIs, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
- Lead Pre-DRM/DRM sessions, ensuring a consensus-driven demand plan by integrating inputs from Sales, Marketing, and Finance; manage top-line forecasting in Anaplan; support S&OP preparations.
- Provide demand insights for new product development, restages, and promotions; support allocation decisions during supply constraints; ensure product availability for launches, limited editions, and value-added packs.
- Serve as the key liaison between Sales, Marketing, Supply Planning, and Finance to align market insights with supply chain capabilities.
- Improve forecasting processes and S&OP maturity; contribute to playbooks, templates, and best practices; support Anaplan integration and adaptation; ensure alignment with the company business plan vision; maintain compliance with deadlines while recommending efficiency improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent
- 2-3 years of relevant experience in demand planning, preferably in FMCG/Retail environment.
- Proficiency in Excel (Pivot Table and VLOOKUP) and JDE is highly advantageous.
- Effective communication abilities, combined with attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to perform independently in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
