Responsibilities

• Conduct cross‑functional projects to obtain and maintain security certificates such as PCI DSS and ISO27001 for all relevant PIPO entities and data centers, including periodic re‑assessments, renewals, and remediations.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to strengthen PIPO’s data control framework (PCF) supporting TikTok’s PCF enhancements and regulatory requirements, including data taxonomy, retention, sharing, processing activities, purpose limitation, data subject rights, privacy policies, and awareness.
• Discover, evaluate, report, and remediate privacy and data security incidents in accordance with SOPs and SLAs set by regulators and stakeholders such as GSO, PDPO, PnS, Privacy Legal, DPO, and GLC.
• Participate in the design and implementation of security penetration tests, coordinate remediation based on severity, and manage related projects with Bytedance Infra and GSO.
• Ensure PIPO’s compliance with USDS and EU Clover data policies, guide product and system designs, build partnerships with USDS Risk and Compliance teams, and lead system modifications for new requirements.
• Support PIPO’s new entity establishment, license applications/renewals, and IT/Security assessments for acquisition targets, ensuring timely completion of milestones.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualification(s):

• Strong background in data privacy & security with a profound understanding of privacy frameworks, security vulnerability types, and remediation solutions.
• Team player with excellent cross‑functional collaboration and strong project management skills.
• Fluent in spoken & written English.

Preferred Qualification(s):

• At least 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure, architecture, data security, and privacy of multi‑national, multi‑tenant, distributed systems.
• Experience in payment or financial services, IT audit, or technical consulting is a plus.
