Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield in Singapore is seeking a Data Center Operations Assistant to support safe and efficient day-to-day activities in a 24x7 data center environment.

You will monitor infrastructure, assist with incidents, maintenance, and project tasks, and ensure compliance with SOPs and asset records while collaborating with cross-functional teams. This role requires hands-on ability with servers, networking, and storage, plus strong problem-solving and documentation skills.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in IT infrastructure or related field.
• Internship experience in data center operations preferred.
• Basic knowledge of data center components including servers, networking and storage.
• Strong troubleshooting and time-sensitive decision-making skills.
• Willingness to work 24x7 and on-call as required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor data center infrastructure 24x7 and respond to alerts.
• Assist with break-fix maintenance across server, networking, and storage.
• Install, configure, and test hardware and software.
• Troubleshoot hardware and network issues promptly.
• Support preventive maintenance and asset/inventory records.
• Ensure SOP/MOP compliance and support audits.
• Assist with small-to-large projects and capacity planning.
