sggovterp is recruiting a Deputy Manager, Data & AI Governance to develop, maintain and operationalise the institute’s governance framework, policies and standards. You will translate government directives into practical controls and processes, promote governance maturity, and enable responsible data and AI use across the organisation.

You will work with Schools and Departments to ensure compliance while driving risk assessments, reporting, and governance enablement across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience in data governance, information governance, risk management, compliance, cybersecurity, AI governance or related fields.
• Experience interpreting government regulations, circulars, standards or policy frameworks.
• Experience developing policies, governance frameworks, SOPs and operating models.
• Experience conducting risk assessments and governance reviews.
• Experience working with enterprise stakeholders across multiple business functions.

Responsabilités

• Develop, maintain, and operationalise the Data & AI Governance Framework, policies, standards and processes.
• Translate WOG requirements (CMs, IM8, AI governance directives) into practical institutional processes, controls and guidance.
• Drive governance maturity, oversee governance risk assessments, ensure compliance while enabling innovation and value from data and AI.
• Advise schools and departments on governance requirements and compliance obligations.
• Coordinate governance dashboards, metrics and reports for management oversight and governance reviews.
• Engage stakeholders across IT, HR, Legal, Risk and other areas to promote governance awareness and adoption.
