Job summary

Republic Polytechnic seeks a Deputy Manager, Data & AI Governance to lead and operationalise the Institute's Data & AI Governance Framework, policies and standards. You will translate WOG directives, MOE requirements, and PDPA obligations into practical processes and controls that RP can adopt across Schools and Departments.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in IS, data mgmt, CS, policy, governance, risk, business or law.
• Certifications in data governance, privacy, risk management or cybersecurity advantageous.
• 5–8 years in data governance, information governance, risk management or AI governance.
• Experience interpreting government regulations and policy frameworks.
• Experience developing policies, governance frameworks, SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Lead or support governance strategy, policy and standards development and maintenance.
• Translate policies into operational processes, workflows and controls.
• Conduct governance risk assessments and oversight of regulatory compliance.
• Advise Schools and Departments on governance requirements and compliance obligations.
• Develop dashboards, metrics and reports for management oversight.
• Engage stakeholders and drive governance awareness and change management.
