Job summary

GovTech in Singapore seeks a Deputy Manager, Data & AI Governance to develop and operationalise the Data & AI Governance Framework, policies, standards and processes. You will translate Whole-of-Government requirements, AI governance directives and PDPA obligations into practical, auditable controls that can be adopted across institutions.

You will drive governance maturity, oversee risk assessments and work with Schools and Departments to ensure compliance while enabling innovation and value

Qualifications

Experience in data & AI governance, risk assessment and policy implementation.
Ability to translate complex government directives into practical operational processes.
Experience engaging with multiple stakeholders across departments to ensure compliance and enable innovation.

Responsibilities

Lead or support creation and maintenance of Data & AI Governance Policy, Standards, and Guidelines.
Translate MOE/CMs/IM8 directives into governance workflows, controls and SOPs.
Conduct governance risk assessments for new initiatives and AI use cases.
Develop governance dashboards and reporting for management oversight.
Engage Schools and Departments to embed governance requirements into day-to-day operations.
