Job summary

sggovterp is seeking a Manager/Senior Manager, Data Management within the Data Strategy & Artificial Intelligence Division to lead the development, implementation, and oversight of data management and AI governance policies and processes in alignment with WoG regulations. The role collaborates with business users, data scientists and data engineers to implement governance frameworks, ensure secure data sharing, and monitor compliance across the agency.

Contract until 30 December 2027.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of practical experience in data governance or data management.
• Strong knowledge in data architecture, systems, and models.
• Certifications such as CDMP, CIPP, or CISSP are highly desirable.
• Understanding of data management principles, frameworks and best practices.
• Proficiency in data quality management techniques and tools.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Commitment to professionalism, integrity and credibility.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement data governance policies, processes and controls per WoG requirements.
• Collaborate with business users, data scientists and data engineers to develop AI governance framework.
• Develop templates for data-related documentation to drive secure sharing.
• Collaborate with IT to enforce data security and compliance across systems.
• Serve as SME in data management and AI governance to support evolving needs.
• Ensure data acquisition and sharing comply with good data management principles.
• Monitor WoG compliance and support development of training materials.
• Monitor effectiveness of governance initiatives and align with organizational goals.
