Job summary

Public Service Division in Singapore seeks a Manager/Senior Manager to lead the development and oversight of data management and AI governance policies in line with WoG regulations. You will collaborate with stakeholders to implement frameworks, templates, and controls.

You will monitor compliance with acts and guidelines such as Public Service Governance Act and IM8, and contribute to training and guidance materials, driving continuous improvement in data governance across the agency.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of practical experience in data governance or data management.
• Foundational knowledge in data architecture, systems and models.
• Desirable certifications: CDMP, CIPP or CISSP.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Commitment to integrity and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement data management and AI governance policies, processes and controls.
• Collaborate with business users, data scientists and data engineers to implement governance frameworks.
• Enforce data security and regulatory compliance across systems.
• Support development of guidance materials, communications and training.
• Monitor effectiveness and drive continuous improvement aligned with WoG requirements.
• Ensure data acquisition and sharing comply with governance principles.
