Job summary

Tech Data APAC is seeking a Product Manager to own sales and profit targets for key product groups and drive revenue through marketing, training and pre-sales support. You will work with the Tech Data team and partners to deliver compelling product plans and effective vendor collaboration.

The role requires a minimum 4-6 years in IT distribution, strong leadership, and vendor relationship management. A bachelor’s degree and vendor certifications are preferred, with a focus on delivering results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a relevant field.
• Minimum 4-6 years experience within IT distribution.
• Experience with cyber security preferred.
• Vendor product sales certifications preferred.
• Strong leadership attributes.
• Self-starter with results focus and business acumen.
• Ability to lead cross-functional/vendor teams.
• Proven ability to influence business outcomes without direct control.

Responsibilities

• Create business plans for vendor product groups and services.
• Develop and implement sales enablement programs for Tech Data and partners.
• Train and enable technical sales support teams for product groups.
• Develop and implement marketing programs to meet objectives.
• Establish joint initiatives with vendors and business partners.
• Plan and manage inventory and reduce obsolescence.
• Drive revenue plans by brand and market segment with vendors.
• Coordinate functions across Tech Data to deliver product plans.
• Maintain executive vendor relationships and pursue new initiatives.
• Keep knowledge of sales processes, proposals, and pipeline management.
• Ensure leadership and proactive engagement within vendor community.
