A Leading Global Technology Distributor in Singapore is seeking a Product Manager to own Cybersecurity and Network Security solutions. You will drive vendor relationships, revenue and profitability while enabling the channel across global partnerships.

The role requires a commercially minded professional with experience in networking, cybersecurity or unified communications, collaborating with vendors, channel partners, BDMs, Sales, Marketing, Operations and Finance.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science or related discipline.
• At least 4 years of experience in networking, security or unified communications industries.

Responsibilities

• Build strategic relationships and meet vendor quotas and profit targets.
• Assist Channel Sales and BDMs to position offerings and manage customers’ requirements.
• Deliver channel enablement through product updates, promotions, events and training.
• Ensure pricing and vendor processes are up-to-date across systems.
• Coordinate with internal teams on vendor issues, operations and tools.
• Submit timely weekly reports to vendors and superiors.
• Engage with partners to grow mind share and development of product.
• Collaborate on promotions, training and events with vendors and internal teams.

A Leading Global Technology Distributor is hiring for a Product Manager – Cybersecurity / Network Security Solutions

An exciting opportunity to join a leading technology distribution business and take ownership of the growth and development of a portfolio of Cybersecurity and Network Security solutions.

The Product Manager will work closely with global technology vendors, channel partners, BDMs, Sales, Marketing, Operations and Finance to drive vendor relationships, revenue and profitability, channel enablement and product growth.

The role will suit a commercially minded professional with strong experience in the Networking, Cybersecurity or Unified Communications industry, who enjoys working across both vendor and channel ecosystems.

POSITION DESCRIPTION

The Product Manager is responsible for:

• Build strategic relationships and meet vendor given quota & achieve profit target


• Assist Channel Sales and BDMs to position product offerings and manage customers' requirement/expectation


• Deliver Internal and External Channel Enablement i.e. Conduct regular Product Update/ Promo/Events/ Training etc.


• Work with internal system team to ensure product pricing is up-to-date, latest vendor processes update.


• Assist Internal on issues with vendor, operation, pre/post and tools related matters


• Submit timely and accurate weekly report to vendors and superior


• Assist BDM/Channel to visit targeted focus partners or end users to enhance product mind share and development


• Plan with vendor/internal to come out with promo/training/event for each vendor


• Quarterly marketing planning and business review with vendors


• Plan on product growth on yearly or special project basis


• To work closely with internal team Channels, Marketing, Operation and Finance to ensure smooth process/operation


• Analyze QTD/YTD numbers, marketing/programs result against metric/MBO given by Management and Vendors


• Familiar and ability to utilize tools provided by internal and vendor

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Skills and Experience:

• Possess at least a tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science or any other related discipline from a recognized institution.


• Have at least 4 years of related working experience in the networking, security or unified communication solutions industry.
