Job summary

BUSINESS EDGE PERSONNEL SERVICES PTE LTD is seeking a logistics operations professional to manage order processing, documentation, and warehouse system transactions in a fast-paced environment in Singapore. The role involves coordinating cargo handling, monitoring schedules and ensuring timely deliveries.

The ideal candidate will have PC literacy, some warehousing or logistics exposure, and be ready to start immediately to support ongoing operations and billing support for customers.

Qualifications

• PC literacy is required.
• Experience in warehousing and logistics is advantageous.
• Candidate should be able to start work immediately.

Responsibilities

• Perform order processing operations in compliance to rating principles and operator variations.
• Document order processing activities.
• Execute stock transfer and system transactions in the WMS.
• Monitor cargo handling schedules to ensure timelines are met.
• Process system receipt of cargoes and validate documentation.
• Identify operational shortfalls and escalate accordingly.
• Develop and implement actions to mitigate service lapses and protect delivery performance.
• Prepare customer and operation reports and assist in billing processes.

Job Duties

OPERATIONS

• Perform order processing operations in compliance to rating principles as well as operator variations
• Perform documentation for order processing activities
• Perform stock transfer/system transaction in WMS
• Monitor cargo handling schedules to ensure timelines are complied with
• Perform system receipt of cargoes
• Validate documentations and escalate non-conformities
• Identify operational shortfall and escalate

CUSTOMER SERVICE

• Manage appropriate mitigating actions/plans to manage lapse in delivery of logistics services
• Prepare reports for customers and operation
• Perform billing process

Job Requirements

• PC literate
• Experience in warehousing and logistics will be an advantage
• Able to start work immediately
