CUSTOMER REFERENCE MANAGER

We are currently looking for a Customer Reference Manager to join a huge tech client for a 1 year contract (with the possibility of extension / going permanent).

What you'll be doing
  • Manage and monitor customer reference activity.
  • Help manage customer reference programs, working with sales, customer success, product, and marketing teams to identify, develop, and engage reference customers.
  • Serve as a Program Manager and content manager for the references team.
  • Create and maintain in-depth customer profiles and contacts.
  • Support and provide input into sales, marketing, and product management deliverables including but not limited to: peer to peer networking, event speaking opportunities, and 1:many reference calls.
  • Manage reference requests, tracking reference activity and outcomes.
  • Identify and track potential customer success stories.
  • Help define customer reference metrics/goals/benchmarks and track/report progress against them.
  • Train internal teams on use of reference materials, processes, programs and strategy for customer assets.
  • Provide reporting and updates on a regular basis to track status of references, key gap areas and provide recommendations.
  • Work with local teams to build customer content such as videos, case studies, blogs, slides and then amplify them to showcase momentum of Google Cloud in the local market.
What you bring
  • 9+ years of experience in business-to-business (B2B) marketing or developer marketing channels such as content, event and community marketing, direct emails and social media.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in references, sales, customer success or managing reference programs.
  • Project management skills and experience including websites, social media, reporting and managing vendors and agencies for content creation and review.
  • Experience creating assets such as case studies, blogs, social media assets, videos etc.
