Job summary

VDL ENABLING TECHNOLOGIES GROUP (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. is seeking a Quality Engineer to be the first point of contact for customers on quality issues.

You will ensure assembly products meet customer quality standards, drive root cause analysis, and implement best practices to prevent defects and improve process efficiency. The role involves coordinating with customers, in-house teams, and suppliers, leading 8D-based CAPA activities, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in customer quality management in semiconductor equipment manufacturing.
• Lean Six Sigma knowledge; certification is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with Customers, In-house, and Suppliers to resolve quality issues.
• Schedule meetings to review and close non-conformance.
• Chair Customer quality CAB meetings and drive CAPA using 8D.
• Review root cause using 5-Whys and fishbone diagrams.
• Define and implement outgoing inspection checklists.
• Compile weekly customer quality reports.
• Monitor and review FAI of parts to meet requirements.
• Support continuous improvement programs.
