Job summary

Squirro is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to work with enterprise customers across Singapore and the APAC region. You will translate business and data needs into scalable AI-powered search, RAG, and knowledge-driven solutions.

You will collaborate with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Delivery teams to deliver impactful deployments, guide customers through discovery to production, and continuously optimize integration and customization across environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a customer-facing technical role such as Solutions Engineer, Forward Deployed Engineer, Technical Consultant, or similar.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python and/or JavaScript and software development best practices.
• Experience working with structured and unstructured data, including data ingestion, transformation, and integration.
• Experience with enterprise search technologies such as Elasticsearch, OpenSearch, or similar platforms.
• Practical understanding of Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, and AI integration patterns.

Responsibilities

• Engage with enterprise customers through discovery, implementation, deployment, and ongoing support.
• Configure and optimize Squirro’s AI-powered search and RAG platform to improve relevance and UX.
• Design and implement ingestion and integration pipelines for diverse data sources.
• Build custom components and extensions using Python and JavaScript to meet customer needs.
• Develop LLM-powered chat or search applications and retrieve workflows.
