Qualifications

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• At least 2 years of freight forwarding or cross-border trucking experience.
• Good knowledge of Singapore–Malaysia cross-border procedures and customs regulations.
• Knowledge of HS codes and tariff classifications.
• Familiarity with GPS tracking systems or transport management systems (TMS).

Responsibilities

• Managing daily end-to-end road freight operations, planning, scheduling and monitoring cross-border truck movements.
• Plan, coordinate and execute cross-border shipments for FTL and LTL to optimize routes, schedules and cargo loads.
• Liaise with transporters, drivers and warehouse team for pickup and delivery arrangements.
• Prepare and verify shipping documentation including permits, invoices, packing lists and customs declarations.
• Apply for local and overseas customs permits for cross-border trucking.
• Ensure compliance with Singapore and country customs regulations and cross-border requirements.
• Monitor shipment status and resolve delays, clearance issues or operational disruptions.
• Communicate with customers on shipment updates, delivery schedules and exceptions.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, costs and documentation.
• Support billing processes including cost verification and invoice preparation.
• Build and maintain relationships with vendors and manage supplier relationships.
