Job summary

Talent-Merge Pte Ltd is seeking a Crew Coordinator to manage crew deployment schedules, records, and payroll for vessels, ensuring compliance with STCW and MLC 2006. You will liaise with agents, shipowners, and flag states to support smooth transitions.

The role requires 2–3 years in crew management, familiarity with Danaos or Tero Marine, and strong MS Office skills. Performance will include budget monitoring and welfare oversight.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Maritime Studies, HR or related field.
• 2–3 years of crew management or marine HR experience.
• Crewing software knowledge (Tero Marine, Danaos) and MS Office; familiarity with STCW/MLC 2006.

Responsibilities

Job Description

• Coordinate crew deployment schedules and ensure timely crew changes in line with vessel operational needs
  
• Maintain accurate seafarer records, certificates, and contracts using Danaos crewing software
  
• Liaise with manning agents, shipowners, and flag states to support smooth crew transitions
  
• Process crew payroll, allotments, and claims through the company's payroll system
  
• Track certificate validity and proactively manage renewal timelines for all crew members
  
• Oversee crew welfare matters, including medical cases, repatriation, and insurance claims
  
• Prepare sign-on and sign-off documentation in compliance with port and immigration requirements
  
• Support the recruitment and screening of qualified seafarers for assigned vessels
  
• Monitor crew costs and budget performance using Excel and the company's ERP system
  
• Uphold compliance with STCW, MLC 2006, and internal standard operating procedures
  

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Maritime Studies, Human Resource Management, or a related field
  
• At least 2 to 3 years of experience in crew management, marine HR, or a related shipping function
  
• Working knowledge of crewing software (e.g. Tero Marine, Danaos) and proficiency in MS Office, with familiarity in STCW and MLC 2006 regulations
  
• Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
