Job summary

TALENT-MERGE PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking an experienced Crewing Coordinator to oversee crew rotation, onboarding, and wallet of welfare for seafarers.

You will ensure operations align with contractual requirements and maintain a robust talent pool for future deployments. The role requires 2–3 years in crewing or maritime administration, strong Excel skills, and knowledge of STCW/MLC regulations. You will collaborate with multiple departments to manage contracts, payroll, and data privacy

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Maritime Studies, Shipping Management, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Around 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in crewing or maritime administration.
  • Sound working knowledge of international maritime regulations (STCW, MLC 2006, Minimum Safe Manning), with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and crew management systems
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities, paired with excellent communication skills and the discretion to handle confidential information responsibly

Responsibilities

  • Oversee crew rotation schedules and manning plans to keep vessel operations running smoothly and in line with contractual requirements
  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard qualified seafarers to meet fleet manning needs
  • Cultivate a strong talent pipeline of officers and ratings for future deployment opportunities
  • Track certificate validity, licences, and travel documentation to uphold compliance with STCW and MLC 2006 standards
  • Organise flights, accommodation, and transit arrangements to enable seamless crew embarkation and disembarkation
  • Act as a key point of contact for seafarers, addressing welfare matters and workplace concerns with care
  • Compile crewing reports, manpower forecasts, and statistics using Microsoft Excel to support informed decision-making
  • Administer crew contracts, payroll inputs, and entitlement verification in partnership with relevant departments
  • Champion a safe working culture by flagging incidents and non-conformities in line with HSSEQ objectives
  • Safeguard crew personal data in accordance with data protection policies and applicable privacy regulations, while supporting audits using crew management software
