Job summary

Talent-Merge Pte Ltd is seeking a Crew Coordinator to manage crew deployment schedules, records, and payroll for vessels, ensuring compliance with STCW and MLC 2006. You will liaise with agents, shipowners, and flag states to support smooth transitions.

The role requires 2–3 years in crew management, familiarity with Danaos or Tero Marine, and strong MS Office skills. Performance will include budget monitoring and welfare oversight.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Maritime Studies, HR or related field.
• 2–3 years of crew management or marine HR experience.
• Crewing software knowledge (Tero Marine, Danaos) and MS Office; familiarity with STCW/MLC 2006.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate crew deployment schedules and ensure timely crew changes.
• Maintain seafarer records, certificates, and contracts.
• Liaise with manning agents, shipowners, and flag states for crew transitions.
• Process crew payroll, allotments, and claims.
• Track certificate validity and renewals for crew members.
• Oversee crew welfare matters, including medical cases and repatriation.
• Prepare sign-on/off documentation per port and immigration rules.
• Support recruitment and screening of seafarers for vessels.
• Monitor crew costs and budget with Excel and ERP system.
• Uphold STCW, MLC 2006, and SOPs.
