Job Description

2026 Graduate Trainee Program (Palm Track): This is an 18‑month program designed to equip you with foundational knowledge and professional skills in one of our business platforms, with rotation across various functions such as trade execution, research, and marketing/trading. Through practical projects and mentoring from business leaders, you would gain deeper understanding of the business and competencies that are essential to furthering your career growth. Depending on individual performance, you could expect to develop professionally in commodities research, trading, marketing roles after the program and beyond. Key Department Rotations and Responsibilities

Research

• Process and analyze information, update relevant databases, and produce weekly research report findings in a clear and informative structure.
• Manage and update origin lineups and verify destination vessels.
• Contribute new insights and independent ideas to the team.
• Assist researchers and traders with the commercial research and trading activities.

Trading

• Monitor daily market movement, relative values and arbitrage values.
• Support the team on completion and execution of trades efficiently and accurately.
• Follow market movements and produce daily recap to global teams.
• Perform detailed data analysis and valuation.
• Create dynamic and intuitive dashboards to support business reporting and analytics.

Cash Program

• Follow up contract execution and work with related teams to solve problems.
• Keep the commercial team informed of relevant issues with their customers.
• Work with controlling team to assign costings accurately.
• Abide by the company’s risk control policy and execution procedure.

Execution

• Execute contracts from business conclusion to shipment completion to gain full understanding of A to Z of trade flow.
• Support execution manager on regular reporting of demurrage and outstanding payment.
• Identify and communicate issues related to execution timely to managers.

Requirements

• Candidates from all degree disciplines and with strong academic records are welcome to apply.
• Strong problem solving and numerical/analytical skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and thrive in uncertainty situations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and programming languages e.g., VBA, Python, Power BI is a plus.
• Prior internship/experience in commodities industry is a plus.
