Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Controls & Regulatory Reporting Specialist to support daily operational controls, investment reporting and regulatory reporting activities.
The role will be responsible for Cost of Investments (COI) reconciliation and reporting, including coordination with CPF Board and Agent Banks, while providing oversight and support to daily Operations processing activities.
The successful candidate should have prior experience in investment operations, ideally with exposure to Unit Trusts / investment products, and possess strong reconciliation, reporting and stakeholder-management capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the key owner for Cost of Investments (COI) reconciliation and reporting with CPF Board and Agent Banks.
- Perform daily operational control checks and ensure accuracy and completeness of reporting activities.
- Support and oversee the daily activities of Operations processing teams.
- Coordinate and support recurring and ad-hoc regulatory matters involving CPF Board and Agent Banks.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders, including Finance and Technology, to ensure smooth business operations.
- Assist in preparing regulatory, management and stakeholder reports.
- Support IRAS regulatory reporting, including FATCA and CRS reporting.
- Perform reconciliations, data validation, data entry and other operational control activities.
- Monitor outstanding operational matters and ensure timely follow-up and resolution.
- Support governance and oversight of Operations teams.
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting records in accordance with internal control and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in Investment Operations.
- Experience with Unit Trusts, investment products or related investment operations would be advantageous.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in Cost of Investments (COI) reporting and reconciliation.
- Experience dealing with CPF Board and/or Agent Banks would be highly advantageous.
- Exposure to regulatory reporting such as FATCA and CRS is advantageous.
- Good knowledge of operational controls, reconciliations and reporting processes.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables and basic formulas.
- Strong attention to detail with good time-management and organisational skills.
- Able to work independently and approach problems with logical and structured thinking.
- Strong stakeholder-management skills, particularly in supporting or governing Operations teams.
- Adaptable and comfortable working with changing operational and regulatory requirements.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
