Manage daily site operations, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget by overseeing workers, coordinating subcontractors, and monitoring progress against plans.
Project management: Supervise daily operations from planning to completion to ensure quality, safety, and timely delivery. Create and manage work schedules for construction crews and subcontractors. Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications to ensure work adheres to the design. Inspect ongoing work, analyze progress, and take corrective action as needed to keep the project on track.
Safety management: Ensure all workers follow safety regulations, procedures, and company policies to maintain a safe work environment. Monitor for safety hazards and perform regular site inspections to ensure compliance. Ensure all necessary permits and licenses are obtained before construction begins.
Leadership & communication: Coordinate and direct the daily activities of construction workers and subcontractors. Works with different project members.
Administration and quality control: Maintain project documentation. Manage materials, quality check and financial budget.
