Job summary

ABS Building Products PTE. LTD. is seeking a qualified professional to lead hardware design from initial specification through to project release.

You will collaborate with designers, architects, planning and procurement teams, coordinating activities across the project lifecycle. The role involves preparing ironmongery schedules, coordinating site installations of low voltage systems and digital locks, and ensuring projects are completed on time with proper documentation and training materials

Qualifications

• Project coordination and management across design, procurement and site execution.
• Experience with hardware design, specification development, and project release.
• Knowledge of low voltage systems (VESDA, CCTV, BMS) and digital locks.

Responsibilities

• Establish, develop and improve hardware design through specification.
• Coordinate with designers, architects, planning and procurement teams.
• Drive projects from specification to release and ensure timely completion.
• Prepare ironmongery schedules and operation manuals for each project.
• Manage site installation, diagnostics and fault repair of building management systems.
• Ensure billing, invoicing and closeout documents are completed on time and maintain healthy cash flow.
• Handover the system to service with warranty certificates and training materials.

Job description

Establish, develop and continue to improve Hardware design through Specification.

Strong in Creating Relationship with Designers and Architects.

Provide Technical Specification.

Drive using technology / development projects in all phases from Specification to release of projects.

Complete Knowledge about ironmongery, preparing Schedule / tender for projects.

Preparing & Proposing Ironmongery Schedules for the Entire Project.

Coordinating the project, scheduling the project till completion on time.

Review Site Conditions – Communicate the requirements to customer.

Organizing of materials required for the execution of projects (Coordinate with planning Team & Procurement team).

Digital Locks Installation & Trouble shooting.

LOW Voltage System Designing and installation eg, VESDA, FAS, CCTV, BMS.

Complete Responsibility of the projects from planning to execution.

Ensure Healthy Cash flow in the organization.

Timely completion of the Projects.

Capable of meeting the risky challenges in projects for timely completion.

Coordination with clients with proper communication and maintain a Healthy Relationship.

Timely completion and successful customer acceptance of installed systems.

Site management of installation sub contractors to ensure project schedules and system deliverables are achieved.

Preparation of Operation & Maintenance manuals are required for each project.

Diagnosing and repairing of faults in large building management systems.

Review Site Conditions – Communicate the requirements to customer & to respective managers in time

Organizing of materials required for the execution of projects (Coordinate with planning Team & Procurement team).

Ensure Billing is done on time.

Ensure invoices are submitted & certified by client on time.

Complete the project on schedule & certified with closeout form.

Prepare the Training Manual & PPT to train the customer in the installed system as per the customer requirement.

Handover the system to Service with necessary documents with warranty certificate.
