Job summary

Nanoair Control Pte. Ltd. in Singapore is seeking a site supervisor to plan, coordinate, and supervise replacement and modification works for HVAC piping systems, review drawings, and ensure compliance with cleanroom protocols.

You will coordinate shutdowns, installation, testing, commissioning, and handover, manage site progress, and liaise with clients and facility teams to minimise disruption while maintaining safety.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and supervise replacement and modification works for HVAC piping systems.
  • Review approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and project requirements before commencement of works.
  • Coordinate shutdown, isolation, dismantling, removal, replacement, and reinstatement activities.
  • Ensure proper installation of HVAC piping, valves, fittings, supports, insulation, and related components.
  • Coordinate with relevant parties for testing, flushing, pressure testing, commissioning, and system handover.
  • Monitor site progress and ensure works are carried out according to the approved project schedule.
  • Coordinate with clients and facility representatives to minimise disruption to existing operations.
  • Ensure proper protection of existing equipment and facilities during replacement works.
  • Plan and coordinate mechanical installation and modification works within cleanroom environments.
  • Ensure all personnel comply with cleanroom protocols, gowning requirements, access controls, and contamination‑control procedures.
  • Coordinate installation activities with the client's production, facility, engineering, and cleanroom teams.
  • Ensure materials, tools, and equipment entering the cleanroom comply with required cleanliness standards.
  • Monitor work activities to prevent contamination, dust generation, and damage to sensitive production equipment.
  • Coordinate installation works according to approved layouts, drawings, specifications, and cleanroom requirements.
  • Ensure proper housekeeping and cleanliness before, during, and after completion of works.
  • Coordinate inspections, testing, commissioning, and final handover to the client.
  • Plan and supervise the delivery, positioning, installation, alignment, and commissioning of mechanical equipment.
  • Review equipment specifications, installation drawings, foundation requirements, and manufacturer's recommendations.
  • Coordinate lifting, rigging, shifting, and positioning activities for mechanical equipment.
  • Ensure lifting plans, risk assessments, permits, and necessary safety controls are implemented before lifting activities.
  • Coordinate installation of associated piping, supports, valves, ducting, utilities, and other mechanical connections.
  • Ensure equipment is correctly installed, levelled, aligned, secured, and connected according to specifications.
  • Coordinate testing and commissioning activities with vendors, subcontractors, consultants, and clients.
  • Attend equipment inspections and rectify outstanding defects before final handover.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, work programmes, manpower plans, and material delivery schedules.
  • Manage projects from commencement through installation, testing, commissioning, and final handover.
  • Conduct site surveys and verify actual site conditions before commencement of works.
  • Review construction drawings, shop drawings, technical specifications, and project requirements.
  • Prepare and review method statements, risk assessments, safe work procedures, and work permits.
  • Coordinate daily site activities with engineers, supervisors, workers, subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors.
  • Attend project coordination meetings, site meetings, technical meetings, and progress meetings with clients and consultants.
  • Monitor manpower, materials, tools, machinery, and equipment required for project execution.
  • Monitor project costs and control unnecessary material, manpower, and equipment expenses.
  • Identify potential project delays, technical issues, and site constraints and implement appropriate corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with procurement personnel and suppliers to ensure materials and equipment are delivered according to schedule.
  • Verify that materials and equipment delivered to site comply with approved specifications.
  • Monitor subcontractor performance, workmanship, productivity, and compliance with project requirements.
  • Ensure all works comply with approved drawings, specifications, applicable regulations, and client requirements.
  • Ensure all site activities comply with company safety policies, Workplace Safety and Health requirements, and client safety regulations.
  • Conduct or participate in toolbox meetings, safety briefings, and site coordination meetings.
  • Ensure workers use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and follow approved Safe Work Procedures.
  • Coordinate permit‑to‑work requirements for activities such as hot works, work at height, lifting operations, confined‑space work, and equipment isolation where applicable.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to identify unsafe conditions, quality issues, and potential project risks.
  • Ensure proper quality inspections are conducted at different stages of installation.
  • Coordinate rectification of defects, non‑conformance items, and outstanding works.
  • Maintain proper documentation of inspections, testing, commissioning, and completed works.
  • Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly project progress reports as required.
  • Maintain records of manpower deployment, work progress, material usage, site instructions, and variations.
  • Maintain proper records of drawings, approvals, inspection reports, testing records, permits, and project correspondence.
  • Prepare and submit variation orders for additional or changed works where applicable.
  • Coordinate preparation and submission of as‑built drawings, testing and commissioning reports, operation and maintenance manuals, warranties, and other handover documents.
