Job summary

Cubo Pte Ltd is seeking a hands-on site supervisor to review imported system furniture layouts, verify measurements against sales drawings, and coordinate appliance locations with M&E planning on site in Singapore.

You will manage client and main contractor’s expectations, attend site meetings, perform pre- and post-work inspections, monitor risks and progress, ensure compliance with standards, maintain comprehensive site documentation, and report status to management with a clean hand-over on

Responsibilities

• Review imported system furniture layouts to ensure components align with sales drawings and verify measurements for accuracy.
• Coordinate appliance locations and ensure M&E (mechanical and electrical) planning is correct or in place as part of the project.
• Manage client and/or main contractor’s expectations, e.g. attend site meetings and provide feedback.
• Maintain communications with client and project involved parties.
• Conduct site inspection/assessment before and after work commence.
• Analyze and manage risks and issues, e.g. site evaluation and resolution of concerns.
• Manage tasks and time to ensure quality of work and adherence to M&E requirements.
• Monitor progress against plan, including delivery and work schedule arrangements.
• Ensure work is performed to customer, project manager or contractor standards while upholding in-house standards.
• Create and maintain comprehensive site documentation and updates.
• Report project status and escalate to management as needed.
• Carry out regular site visits for follow-up on progress and inspection of completion.
• Collaborate with installation team to complete work until project ends.
• Close the project with well-documented hand-over and sign-off when appropriate.
• Work under tight schedules and multi-project deadlines.
• Perform other tasks deemed necessary.

Job description

• Review layout of kitchen/wardrobe (imported system furniture) to ensure all components are correct and all measurements are accurate and match sales drawing;
• Review appliance locations to ensure they will fit and review proper electric, gas and plumbing (M&E) is in place or planned as part of the project;
• Manage client and/or main contractor’s expectations, eg. attend site meetings and feedbacks;
• Maintaining communications with client and the project’s involved parties;
• Require to do site inspection/ assessment before and after work commenced;
• Analyzing and managing risks and issues, eg. site evaluation before and after work commence, resolve site concerns and issues, etc;
• Managing task and time and ensure quality of work completed, eg. ensure site meets M&E requirements before work scheduling;
• Monitoring progress against plan, eg. check site progress and arrangement of delivery and work schedule;
• Ensure work is done accordingly as requested by the customer, project manager or contractor and it is to their standards while maintaining in-house standards;
• Create and maintain comprehensive site documentation and site update
• Report project status and elevate to management as needed;
• Require to do regular site visits for checking and follow-up on work progress and inspection on work completion;
• Work closely and sync with installation team to accomplish work done until project ended;
• Closing the project in a controlled fashion when appropriate, such as well-documented hand-over list and sign-off;
• Work in tight schedule and deadline of multi-projects;
• Other tasks deemed necessary.
