A leading aerospace company in Singapore is seeking a Communications Lead to oversee external communications activities for its divisions in Southeast Asia. The role involves managing media relations, creating content for various channels, organizing events, and ensuring positive engagement across all platforms. Candidates should have a degree in communications or journalism, possess extensive experience in communication roles, and be well-versed in the cultural landscape of Southeast Asia. Strong written skills and proficiency in corporate social media are crucial for success in this position.
As part of the APAC team, the job holder leads external communications activities for all divisions in Southeast Asia, in support of business campaigns and corporate priorities. The job holder will be responsible for managing relations with the media in the markets covered, liaising with Communications teams at customers, content production for Airbus channels and organisation of local events, all with the support of PR agencies. The markets covered are: Brunei, Cambodia, East Timor, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam.
