Job summary

GYUKATSU KYOTO KATSUGYU is expanding in Singapore. We are hiring a kitchen assistant to support chefs, maintain hygiene, and manage ingredient prep in a fast-paced environment. Work locations include Raffles City, One Holland Village, and Parkway Parade.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in a kitchen, O level passes, and a food safety certificate. Immediate or short-notice start is preferred, with weekend work required.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in a kitchen setting.
• Willingness to work on weekends and public holidays.
• Possess Food safety and hygiene certificate.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior chefs with food preparation and basic cooking tasks.
• Maintain high hygiene and cleanliness standards in the kitchen.
• Support daily requisitions and ingredient preparation.
• Help with inventory checks and stock organization.
• Contribute to the overall efficiency and smooth running of kitchen operations.

REQUIREMENTS

• Min. of 1 to 2 years of experience in kitchen setting.
• Min. secondary school education with 'O' level passes
• Able to start work immediately or within a short notice period would be preferred
• Possess Food safety and hygiene certificate
• Able to work on weekends and public holidays
