Job summary

GMP Technologies Singapore seeks a seasoned IT Asset and Configuration Management leader to own regional CMDB governance and drive ServiceNow ITAM initiatives across APAC.

You will partner with branch leads and cross-functional teams to ensure accurate mapping of assets, data quality, and measurable risk reduction while mentoring analysts and coordinating vendor delivery.

The role requires 10+ years of experience, deep governance knowledge, and strong analytical writing skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT or related discipline.
• 10+ years in IT Asset Management, Configuration Management, or Service Management.
• Hands-on CMDB, ServiceNow Discovery, Service Mapping, and IRE.
• Strong knowledge of governance, ITAM, and IT infrastructure operations.
• Experience standardizing processes across multiple teams/locations.
• Strong analytical and technical writing skills.
• Ability to translate data issues into operational risks and actions.
• Working knowledge of IT infrastructure services and risk management.

• Lead the regional CMDB/ITAM function, guide analysts, and manage vendor teams.
• Collaborate with APAC branch leads and cross-functional teams to address regional requirements and improve service delivery.
• Drive CMDB standards adoption, awareness, and training across APAC.
• Establish KPIs, KRIs, dashboards, and management reporting to monitor data quality and risk.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Own regional CMDB governance, operating processes, standards, procedures, service expectations, and continuous improvement in alignment with enterprise and global frameworks.
• Lead regional ServiceNow ITAM implementation, including master asset data onboarding, validation, production readiness, and data governance across APAC entities.
• Maintain CMDB accuracy, completeness, consistency, and integrity through data controls, monitoring, certification, exception management, and remediation.
• Establish and govern CI relationships across infrastructure, applications, systems, services, and assets to ensure accurate mapping and relationship completeness.
• Lead the regional CMDB/ITAM function, guide analysts, and manage vendor teams delivering ServiceNow Asset Management projects.
• Collaborate with APAC branch leads, local PICs, IT/IS service owners, and cross-functional teams to address regional requirements and improve service delivery.
• Drive CMDB standards adoption, awareness, and training across APAC.
• Establish KPIs, KRIs, dashboards, and management reporting to monitor data quality, operational risks, and process effectiveness.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in IT Asset Management, Configuration Management, or Service Management within IT infrastructure or operations.
• Hands-on experience managing CMDB, ServiceNow Discovery, Service Mapping, and Identification and Reconciliation Engine (IRE).
• Strong knowledge of Configuration Management, ITAM, governance, control frameworks, and IT infrastructure operations.
• Proven experience standardizing processes and controls across multiple teams or locations.
• Strong analytical, root-cause analysis, process improvement, and technical writing skills.
• Ability to translate technical data issues into operational risks, management actions, and measurable outcomes.
• Working knowledge of IT infrastructure services and operational risk management.
